Who We Are

Ukraine TravelGuard is an independent travel-information resource for international visitors planning a trip to Ukraine. We exist to make a complicated, fast-moving topic — entering Ukraine during active conflict — clear, factual, and easy to act on.

What We Cover

Our country guides answer the questions every traveler arrives with, organized by your country of origin so the rules that apply to you are at the top of the page:

  • Visa requirements and entry rules for international visitors entering Ukraine
  • Border crossings into Ukraine during martial law (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova)
  • Document checklists, registration requirements, and curfew rules
  • Travel insurance — what coverage is required, what is recommended, what is excluded by most off-the-shelf policies
  • Embassy and consular contacts inside Ukraine
  • Practical safety, transport, money, and accommodation guidance from current ground reality

Our Mission

Travel information about Ukraine should be clear, factual, and free. Visitors should not have to piece together a coherent picture from a dozen out-of-date forum posts and ambiguous government bulletins. Every guide on this site is structured to give you exactly what you need: which documents to prepare, what rules apply, where to cross, whom to contact when something goes wrong.

How We Work

Our content is compiled from official Ukrainian government sources (Cabinet of Ministers, State Border Guard Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs), embassy communications, and verified traveler reports. We update guides regularly to reflect regulatory changes — entry rules during martial law shift more often than peacetime travel writing assumes. When we are uncertain about a requirement, we say so and link to the official source so you can confirm before you travel.

What We Are Not

We are not a booking site, a visa agency, or an insurance broker. We do not collect personal information, run accounts, or handle payments. Our recommended travel-insurance partner is disclosed openly on every page where it appears; affiliate links are marked accordingly.
