Terms of Use
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website ukrainetravelguard.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”) operated by the Ukraine TravelGuard editorial team. By visiting the site, subscribing to the newsletter, or contacting us you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Nature of the service
Ukraine TravelGuard publishes editorial travel information about visiting Ukraine — entry rules, visa requirements, border-crossing procedures, transport, safety, and related practical guidance. The site is free to read, contains no paywalls, and does not require an account.
3. No professional advice
Information published on the site is for general guidance only and does not constitute legal, immigration, medical, financial, or professional advice. Visa rules, entry requirements, currency regulations, and security advisories change frequently — sometimes within hours during periods of martial law. You must verify any time-sensitive requirement with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official Ukrainian government source before acting on it. We expressly disclaim responsibility for decisions made on the basis of information published here.
4. Information accuracy
We strive to publish accurate, current information drawn from official Ukrainian government sources, embassy communications, and verified traveller reports. Despite this:
- we do not warrant that any specific guide is complete, current, or free of errors;
- we do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or that defects will be corrected;
- any reliance you place on information published on the site is strictly at your own risk.
Where we are uncertain about a requirement, we say so and link to the official source. If you find an inaccuracy, please email info@ukrainetravelguard.com — corrections from readers are welcome and frequently incorporated.
5. Affiliate and commercial disclosure
Some links on the site, in particular links to travel-insurance providers, are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence the substance of our editorial recommendations — we only link to products we consider genuinely useful for travellers entering Ukraine, and we describe known limitations openly. This disclosure is provided in compliance with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides and equivalent rules under the United Kingdom Competition and Markets Authority.
6. Intellectual property
All editorial content on the site — articles, country guides, illustrations, structured data, and the underlying compilation — is the copyright of Ukraine TravelGuard and its contributors except where another licence is explicitly stated. You may:
- read, save, and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use;
- quote brief excerpts (up to 200 words) with a clear attribution and a link back to the original page;
- link to any page on the site without seeking permission.
Republishing entire articles, mirroring the site, scraping the site to train language models or build commercial datasets, or rehosting our images requires prior written permission. Email us if you have a specific use case in mind.
7. Submissions and corrections
If you submit a correction, tip, or other content to us by email, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, edit, and publish that submission as part of the site, including in translated form. Do not submit confidential information or anything subject to a third-party copyright. We may, at our discretion, credit you for a substantive contribution; please tell us if you would prefer not to be credited.
8. Acceptable use
When using the site you agree not to:
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or probe the site or its underlying infrastructure;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security or rate-limiting measure;
- use automated systems to scrape the site at a rate or volume that interferes with normal operation, including for the purpose of training language models without permission;
- use the newsletter subscription form to subscribe email addresses you do not own or have permission to subscribe;
- use the site or its content in any way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or harms the integrity of the editorial mission described above.
9. External links
The site links to third-party resources — embassies, government portals, transport operators, insurance providers, news outlets — for your convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse all of their content, and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither Ukraine TravelGuard nor its contributors shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site or any information published on it — including without limitation any harm arising from reliance on entry requirements, safety advisories, embassy contacts, or insurance recommendations published here. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of these Terms is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ukraine TravelGuard and its contributors against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
13. Suspension or termination of access
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or are engaging in conduct harmful to the site or its readers.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, the way the site operates, or the editorial mission. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ukraine. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
